| Weatherstones House is registered to provide nursing care for 30 residents and also has the flexibility of an optional three residential care rooms. As a registered Nursing Home, we can care for people who need regular, skilled nursing care because of illness, infirmity or injury. This can be for both short or long- term care, as required. Qualified nursing staff are available 24 hours a day plus a team of trained and experienced care assistants. The home is managed by a highly qualified Registered Nurse, also a qualified Registered Mental Nurse, who has responsibility for the management of the Home and care of its residents. All the Homes operate with the same philosophy of care, which places the resident firmly at the centre of all care planning and routines. Weatherstones House and its sister Homes operate in a Country House style. Each is set in large, attractive grounds or gardens and has a large conservatory lounge in order to make the most of the sunny aspect and setting. However, it is not only the attractive, spacious communal rooms or well-furnished bedrooms, which make a good Home. It is the way it feels when you enter the door. |
