Weatherstones House Care Ltd is a family run business that started in 1985 with Alfreton Residential Home near the top of the Prenton rise. This was followed in 1990 with Weatherstones House Nursing Home in the South Wirral countryside.

In 1992 Community Caring Ltd started, although with a different name as an community outreach program for Alfreton.

Hinderton Mount, just up the Chester High Road from Weatherstones was acquired and refurbished in 1999.
