Alfreton aims to provide individualised care that enables our residents to continue to live as independently as possible by receiving care and support consistent with their incapacity and disabilities.  We welcome residents from all walks of life and with many different needs.

Anyone over the age of 65 whom because of physical or mental incapacity, or problems associated with old age, who requires help with daily living can apply to Alfreton. We do not provide nursing care, specialised dementia or mental health care, but can access District Nursing Support for short-term problems.

 Accommodation, Support, Facilities and Specialist Services
Alfreton is a beautiful Edwardian Residence, set on Prenton Ridge, carefully converted to a
Care Home providing residential care and is registered to provide a total registration number of 16.

It accepts both male and female clients over the age of 65, from a variety of funding backgrounds and can accept clients who fall in to the category of old age and its associated needs.

It enjoys half an acre of sunny gardens and was acquired by the company in 1985.

 We provide additional communal space to that required by the new national standards in order to augment the quality of life of our residents.

There is always a choice of places to sit, read, watch TV, have a chat or entertain visitors.  There are four lounge areas – A spacious TV lounge, a large main sitting room, a large sunny Conservatory Lounge and a Dining Room. There are also 2 ground floor WCs.
